What we collect right now
At this stage, we keep things simple. If you join the waitlist, we
may collect your email address, your language preference, and basic
technical information that helps the website run safely, such as
request logs, browser or device signals, and anti-abuse data
collected by our infrastructure providers.
We are not yet collecting the content of future conversations with
Alex, your attachments, or your billing details through the waitlist
form.
Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- add you to the waitlist;
- send launch news and closely related DearAI updates;
- write to you in the language that fits you best;
- protect the website and the waitlist from spam, bots, and misuse;
- keep the website working properly and meet legal obligations where needed.
What joining the waitlist means
Joining the waitlist means you are asking us to keep your place and
let you know when DearAI is ready.
It does not mean:
- you already have a DearAI account;
- the full service is live for you now;
- we can promise a specific launch date or invite date.
Who helps us run this
We use a small number of service providers to help us run the
website and waitlist. These currently include Cloudflare, for
hosting, delivery, and website security, and Resend, for waitlist
contact storage and email updates.
These providers may process information on our behalf so the website
and waitlist can work.
How long we keep waitlist information
We keep waitlist information only for as long as it is reasonably
useful for running the waitlist, sending launch updates, preventing
abuse, and meeting legal needs.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will aim to do that
within a reasonable time unless we need to keep limited records for
security, legal, or unsubscribe purposes.
Your choices
You can ask to:
- stop receiving non-essential waitlist emails;
- access the information we hold about you;
- correct your information;
- delete your information.
If an email includes an unsubscribe link, you can use that too.
A word about children
DearAI is not designed specifically for children. If you are under
the age at which you can provide valid consent under the laws that
apply to you, please use DearAI only with the involvement of a
parent or legal guardian.
If DearAI changes later
When DearAI formally launches, the service will likely involve
broader data use than the waitlist does today. If that happens, we
will publish updated privacy terms for the live service before or at
launch.

information removed, please write to
